INNISBROOK, Fla. – The Faulkner women's golf team finished fourth out of 13 teams in the University of South Carolina-Beaufort Innisbrook Invitational on Tuesday.
The Lady Eagles shot a team score of 656 through 36 holes on Monday, but a 324 this afternoon allowed the team to jump from fifth to fourth place in the final tally.
Hannah Sager finished first overall in a field of 72 girls, securing her second top-two finish in as many events. The junior out of Montgomery posted 78, 73 in the first two rounds, and closed out play with a 74 for a nine-over-par 225 in the tournament.
Anna Reid finished tied 14th, scoring 79, 78, 82.
The Lady Eagles will travel to Lewisburg, Tennessee, to play in the Martin Methodist College Golf Tournament at the Saddle Creek Golf Course, beginning on October 22.
